Tax dollars in action

Buses on the go: Thanks to a transportation levy passed by Riverview School District voters several years ago, the district was able to buy six new buses for the students. Bus 48, driven by Sue Loder, picks up students at Carnation Elementary School. Loder is thrilled that she was chosen to drive the new bus. Number 48, along with the 25 other buses in the fleet, will travel approximately 22,000 miles in one school year.
