Salish hosts “Music on the Green” concert series

Salish Lodge & Spa, in partnership with KEXP Radio, announces the line-up for its Music on The Green summer concert series. Tickets for these intimate shows—held on the Centennial Green, a serene park-like area located adjacent to The Lodge—are limited to 130 guests and include a Salish signature blanket and a gourmet picnic complete with a variety of salads, meats and cheeses, Yakima Valley Cherries, and Salish Chocolate Bark to enjoy with a bottle of Northwest wine. Designed to celebrate the hotel’s 25 years of tradition in the Northwest, the line-up includes the following renowned local artists:

Thursday, July 11 – Star Anna, Ellensburg native, turned Seattle-based song writer, will unite the east and west sides of the state as she kicks off the series.

Thursday, July 25 – a solo performance by Kris Orlowski, a 2013 Bumbershoot artist and new folk songwriter with a growing cult following is currently on a west coast tour with Sara Watkins. This performance and Bumbershoot are the only opportunities to see Orlowski in Washington this summer.

Thursday, August 8 – Lead Singer Jason Dodson and Lead Guitarist Tim Gadbois of The Maldives will perform together providing a unique treat for an intimate experience with these key members of the celebrated alternative country Seattle band.

Sunday, August 25 – Shelby Earl, will perform on the heels of her sophomore album launching July 23, Swift Arrows. Earl’s debut solo album Burn the Boats was named the “#1 Outstanding 2011 Album You Might Have Missed” by Amazon.com.

Tickets are $95 per pair and include access to the concert, a signature Salish Lodge & Spa blanket, gourmet picnic tote with a bottle of wine and delicious Salish bites perfect for two. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and each show starts at 7:30 p.m.  Guests must be 21 and over to attend. A variety of special offers and an overnight package are also available for concert guests.
