Recognizing do-gooders: Nominations start for Valley’s annual Give Good awards

Dozens of local citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations have already been nominated for the first annual Give Good awards of Snoqualmie Valley. Recognizing inspirational people and highlighting the hard work invested into making this community a great place to live, “the Give Good awards aim to celebrate the everyday heroes, outstanding citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations," says Angela Craig, President of the Give Good foundation.

Dozens of local citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations have already been nominated for the first annual Give Good awards of Snoqualmie Valley.

Recognizing inspirational people and highlighting the hard work invested into making this community a great place to live, “the Give Good awards aim to celebrate the everyday

heroes, outstanding citizens, youth, businesses, and organizations,” says Angela Craig, President of the Give Good foundation.

These Valley do-gooders will be honored at a red carpet event, 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Church on the Ridge in Snoqualmie.

Along with recognizing the magnificent moments of the awardees’ achievements, perhaps inspiring others to get involved, the Give Good awards plan to highlight local charities, Valley school programs, and other organizations during the program

Nominations are open until Thursday, January 31 in the 11 categories: Arts, business, courage, environmental, educational excellence, teen spirit, inspirational youth, youth advocate, unsung hero, parent volunteer, and spirit of the Valley.
