Junior Taylor Pearlstein has been selected as the new student-member on the Snoqualmie Valley School Board.

Board member Caroline Loudenback, who interviewed her for the spot, told the board June 23 that Pearlstein was a “very poised professional young lady, we’re going to be lucky to have her.” She also listed some of her activities, which include being trained as a Natural Helper.

Pearlstein joins senior Chace Carlson in representing students at the school board meetings. The students will give the school board monthly updates on school events, but will not have voting authority. Pearlstein replaces Cassady Weldon, who graduated in June.
