Snoqualmie Valley Rotary, along with Life Enrichment Options, will host a Challenge Race for developmentally disabled children. The event, from noon to 2 p.m., pairs a volunteer student driver with a developmentally disabled child in gravity car races down Snoqualmie Parkway. The Snoqualmie event is the final of six statewide race days.
All are invited to the third annual Snoqualmie Valley Block Party this Saturday, Sept. 19, on Center Boulevard, Snoqualmie Ridge.
Check out the new amenities at Tollgate Farm Park at a family fun day Saturday, Sept. 19. Along with the playground and trails, the event, starting at noon, will feature bouncy houses, snacks and a visit from the Reptile Man at 1.
The Mount Si Med Squad a group of friends, but also a developing guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital. The squad, primarily boys at Mount Si High School with a few younger brothers, got involved with Seattle Children’s when they decided they wanted to help the world outside their own.
