Coach Kevin Knowles was happy to report that the Mount Si High School Knowledge Bowl team placed 9th in state competition in the Tri-Cities area March 26. The school’s “A Team” competed with 17 other teams from 3A schools around the state.

Knowles said this year was the first in several since Mount Si has sent a team to the state championships.

Members of the Knowledge Bowl A Team include Taylor Bettine, Club President Angie-McMillan Major, Club Sergeant-at-Arms Shaun Murphy, John Richards, Erik Sorvik, and Club Treasurer Shane Wilhelm. B Team supporters included Hannah Johnson, Jeremy Knight, Tatyana Sarynuik, and Courtney Streulens.
