Mental illness focus group forming

The Snoqualmie Valley Community Network is partnering with King County to form a focus group that will help inform the county’s decisions around its investments related to mental illness and drug dependency renewal.

The Snoqualmie Valley Community Network is partnering with King County to form a focus group that will help inform the county’s decisions around its investments related to mental illness and drug dependency renewal.

Interested participants are invited to a facilitated group discussion, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22 at the Preston Community Center. The discussion is designed to gather perspectives of Snoqualmie Valley service providers and residents. People from all walks of life are welcome, including those who have experience with mental health or substance abuse treatment, those who may want services but can’t access them, family members, providers,  volunteers and community leaders. People in recovery are especially encouraged to participate.
