Residents in the Snoqualmie who are looking for information about the local school district levy vote won’t find it on their King County voters pamphlets.

The pamphlet includes information about the Vashon Island School District’s Proposition 1, which does not apply to Snoqualmie Valley voters, but has no information about the Snoqualmie Valley School District’s Propositions 1 and 2.

Snoqualmie was among school districts who chose not to include information on the pamphlet, to save costs.Information about local school propositions can be found at www.kingcounty.gov/elections; levy details are also posted on the Snoqualmie Valley School District website at www.svsd410.org.

Although the pamphlets don’t include levy info, ballots mailed to Snoqualmie contain the levy voting options.

Appearing before the Snoqualmie City Council on Monday, Jan. 25, Snoqualmie Schools Superintendent Joel Aune said the tech levy is on the back of the ballot.

The council unanimously approved resolutions endorsing the school district propositions and library lid lift.
