As part of The Focus on the Family’s “The Truth Project,” Mount Si Lutheran Church hosts a one-hour video presentation, “The American Experiment,” 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 6.

Mount Si Lutheran Church is located at 411 N.E. Eighth Street and Ogle Street, North Bend.

Sibling workshop set at Issaquah

A Life Enrichment Options workshop for adult siblings of persons with developmental disabilities is 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Issaquah Community Center, 301 Rainier Blvd. S., Issaquah.

Participants can share experiences and learn from facilitator Don Meyer, who has been doing sibling workshops nationwide for over 20 years. Food will be served. There is no cost to attend.

North Bend

to dedicate well

The City of North Bend will dedicate its new “Centennial” well with a short presentation and demonstration of the well’s operation, 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 at the Public Works Shop, 1155 E. North Bend Way.

During the dedication, there will be a short presentation and demonstration by staff of the well start-up and system operation, a display of construction photographs, unveiling of a plaque, and open forum for questions and answers.
