Help Empower Youth Network win $40,000 grant

EYN has been named a finalist in local ‘People Helping People Awards’

Empower Youth Network, a Valley-based nonprofit that helps youth lead healthy and successful lives, has been named a finalist in BECU’s People Helping People Awards.

BECU members and employees nominate nonprofits from across the Puget Sound region for the contest each year. Among those nominations, a committee has chosen EYN as one of this year’s 18 finalist organizations.

As a finalist, EYN is eligible to win the People’s Choice Award and take home a $40,000 grant from BECU. The winner will be determined by a public voting process. To vote for EYN, visit: bit.ly/47bIIWJ. Voting closes at 5 p.m. on Nov. 3.

EYN works in partnership with both the Snoqualmie Valley and Riverview School Districts and offers several initiatives benefiting Valley youth, including its mentoring and suicide and drug prevention programs.
