Both Carnation Farms and Remlinger Farms are hosting fundraising events Jan. 10 to help Snoqualmie Valley residents affected by December’s historic flooding.
The evening’s events begin at Remlinger Farms with a dinner, raffle and silent auction from 4-6 p.m. Here, the Carnation Chamber of Commerce is collecting donations that will go to the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance for its Farmer Flood Relief Fund.
With attendance to the event, there is a suggested donation of $15 for adults and $10 for kids and seniors. Larger donations can also be made upon registration at carnationchamber.org/events.
From 6-10 p.m., the Carnation Farms Hippodrome will hold a fundraising concert, organized by Morgan Henley Presents. The lineup includes Snoqualmie Valley bands Long and Strange and VibeMind, as well as Austin Jenckes, a locally beloved singer from Duvall who now lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
Food will be available for purchase at the event, as well as beverages from local breweries and wineries. Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for kids. All proceeds will go to the Rotary Club of Duvall, which will distribute the funds amongst more than 40 impacted households and farms in the Duvall area. Tickets are available at duvallfloodbenefit.square.site.
