Scott and Kay Eastman are putting on a food drive on behalf of the Adra P. Berry Memorial Food Bank in Preston.

They will be receiving non-perishable items near the park-and-ride site at I-90’s exit 22, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Some specific non-perishable items that the food bank can use include peanut butter, pasta, rice, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables etc.  Many of the items collected will help locals in need during the upcoming holiday season.

The food bank serves nearly 65 families regularly and the hours of distribution are on Thursdays, from 3 to 4 p.m.

If you are not able to make a donation during these scheduled hours,  items may be dropped off at the front doors of Raging River Community Church at 31104 SE 86th Street in Preston or during regular food distribution times.

To learn more, call Pastor Roy Peacock at the church, (425) 222-5573.
