On Wednesday, Dec. 9, at around 5:45 p.m., the Bank of America branch at 128 Bendigo Blvd. S., North Bend, reported a robbery.

A thin Caucasian or Hispanic man, 5’6”, wearing a black jacket with hoody, sunglasses and purple latex gloves entered the bank and demanded money. The suspect left the bank on foot, westbound, with an unknown amount of cash.

Officers from Issaquah, Bellevue K-9, King County Sheriff and King County’s Guardian One helicopter assisted with searching for the suspect.  It was determined that he had a vehicle nearby and fled the scene.

A joint FBI task force, the Seattle Safe Streets Task Force, has taken over the investigation. According to a spokeswoman for the task force, the organization “investigates bank robberies across the wider Seattle area, particularly when the subject may have robbed multiple times across the jurisdiction of multiple police departments.”

No other information about the suspect is provided.
