Fall City teen represents Washington at Miss Teen USA

Claire Wright of Fall City will represent Washington State at the Miss Teen USA pageant, July 29 and 30 in Las Vegas.

The Eastside Catholic High School graduate and National Honor Society member and officer will be judged in three categories, interview, evening gown and fitness wear.

Wright’s platform is educating people about bullying. After experiencing severe bullying in middle school, she became passionate to change the mindset of youth.

She created the Project Claire Bear program to help children overcome their challenges.

Wright plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in communications and hopes to become a broadcast journalist.

Miss Teen USA is part of the Miss Universe Organization.
