Climbing for the cure
Pictured are Snoqualmie firefighters participating in this year's Firefighter Stairclimb on March 4 at the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. Left to right are Mike Wallace, Brian Busby and Luke Wyrsch. Not pictured are Doug McCall and Al Harper. Last year the event raised $335,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Firefighters will climb the 69 flights of stairs containing the 1,311 steps it takes to reach the top of the 788-foot building while wearing full gear.
