Centennial Fields officially opens

Although it's been in use for a few months now, the city of Snoqulamie officially opened the new Centennial Fields sports complex on Sept. 13 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Volunteers from the local Girl Scout group hosted games for children, while Snoqulamie Falls Brewing Company provided root beer for the event. Members of Snoqualmie's Parks Board and Parks Department also were honored at the event for helping bring the new fields to the area. The event was rounded out by Mount Si Wildcats' Junior Football program games taking place throughout the day.
