Snoqualmie Valley Arts Live presents Harley Brumbaugh’s Horns-A-Plenty and Friendly Advice (a barbershop quartet) in a joyous musical salute to the holiday season. Curtain time is 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, in the Mount Si High School Theater (8651 Meadowbrook Way S.E., Snoqualmie).

Harley’s Horns-A-Plenty, led by Harley Brumbaugh and long established as one of the premier music aggregations in the Northwest, is a regular spotlight feature at the Seattle Center Dance Pavilion. The versatility of the band members is demonstrated by appearances with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Opera Association, the SuperSonics Organization, the Seattle Seahawks Band and in literally hundreds of other venues. Their performance will open with a heartfelt tribute to New Orleans and will include a delicious blend of zesty swing, down-home Dixieland jazz and smooth vocal ballads.

Friendly Advice Barbershop Quartet is earning accolades in district and international competition and in a variety of venues around the Puget Sound area. They were such a hit with our audience last season that we are bringing them back for this magical, musical holiday show. Their all-new program of great ballads features their favorite genre “love songs,” and also the amazing sustained notes of lead singer Wes Sorstokke. There will be a carol sing-along between the acts, and refreshments and dancing to Harley’s seven-piece band in the school commons area after the show. Partial funding for this presentation was provided by King County 4Culture.

Tickets are available at Video Nites in Fall City; Isadora’s in Snoqualmie; and Nature’s Marketplace in North Bend. Prices are $15 regular admission; $10 for seniors; and $5 for youth. To order tickets or for more information, call SVAL at (425) 888-1514 or visit www.snoqualmievalleyartslive.org.
