Supporting local farmers and protecting the outdoors from more development, more than 250 people gathered Saturday, July 26, at Jubilee Farm in Carnation for the Taste of the Valley benefit.
The event is a major fundraiser for the Snoqualmie Valley Preservation Alliance.
Chefs from dozens of celebrated restaurants in Seattle and the Eastside provided tasty samples from their menus to the guests in attendance.
“I am very proud to see those of us that live on the Sammamish Plateau, who have this regional treasure right outside our back door, are recognizing its value, and stepping up to the plate to help preserve it,” said Sammamish resident Cynthia Krass, executive director of the SPVA.
