Thursday, Feb. 22, 1990

• Any basketball players interested in representing Washington state on a basketball tour to Australia should contact Scott Novak or Nels Hawkinson. The tour teams are open to all high school boys or girls. Tentative tour dates are set for June 25 through July 11.

Thursday, Feb. 25, 1965

• Tanner and Snoqualmie will vie for the championship of the YMCA High School Basketball League on Thursday evening at the Snoqualmie Grade School gym in an opener preceding a Kiwanis basketball game. The young hoopsters take the floor at 7 p.m.

• The King County Sheriff’s office reported the theft of several items from a State Game Department truck which was parked at the Tokul Creek Hatchery. Reported missing are an air ride bucket seat, passenger bucket seat, air horn, industrial socket set, various wrenches, fire extinguisher grease gun, hip boots and rain gear.
