Bring your sweetheart to Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on Valentine’s Day to hear former Valley student and globe-trotting opera singer Steve Thoreson perform with a troupe of other regional musicians.

Thoreson, who explored his gift at North Bend Elementary, will sing with Troupe De Ville, a collaboration of six musicians. Thoreson’s opera vocals will be accompanied by Eric Fridrich, a Chicago jazz guitarist; Overton Berry, a Pacific Northwest pianist; Steve Kim, a bassist, composer and educator; Swil Kanim, a storyteller, violinist and member of the Lummi Nation; and Andre Feriante, an award-winning neo-flamenco and classical guitarist.
