The Umibushi Self-Defense Academy hosts a free Halloween Costume Contest and Safety Class, 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Twin Falls Middle School.

The evening includes Halloween Safety Tip handouts for parents to review prior to Halloween trick or treating.
