Left Hand Smoke, a popular SummerStage band returns to the McCormick Park stage tonight for a free concert starting at 7 p.m.

Fronted by brothers Ben, piano and vocals, and Will Mish, guitar, the band also includes Irish-born rhythm guitarist Ronan O’Mahony and Andrew Cloutier on drums.

Ebbtide Online Seattle describes the band as “it sounds like Van Morrison met with B.B. King and collided with Train on the way up.”

The concert will include food trucks serving at 5:30 p.m. and a Rotary-sponsored beer and wine garden, featuring Old Rock Brewery beers, open at 6 p.m.

Their songs have been licensed for network television shows (“ER” and “Grey’s Anatomy”), and the Discovery Channel. The band has headlined the Doe Bay Music Festival the Backyard Stage at Seattle’s Bumbershoot, and opened for the Northwest leg of the national John Mayer and Maroon 5 tour.
