Carnation will celebrate a first, a downtown block party, this Saturday, Aug. 20 in the Tolt Commons Park. The free event is open to all ages.

Live music by Heels to the Hardwood, Sunshine Junkies, Human Ladder, Saint John and the Revelations, Housecoat, The Poindexters, and the Stillbillys is on the schedule from 1 to 10 p.m. Food and craft vendors will be part of the event.
