I would like to respond to a recent letter to the editor from a resident regarding the actions of the Snoqualmie Police Department.

Members of the Snoqualmie Police Department continually strive to provide the highest level of professional service and are committed to serving and protecting the community. My hope — and belief — is that our officers treat each individual with respect.

Part of the uniqueness and beauty of Snoqualmie is the safety our residents, businesses, and visitors enjoy. I would hope that is partly due to our city’s public safety “No call too small” philosophy and to the quality of our officers in carrying out that goal.
