Fire-stricken Snoqualmie family gives thanks for help, but still needs a home

On behalf of the Muse family, we would like to offer our most heartfelt thanks to the many Valley people and organizations who generously helped us in our recovery from the recent fire that claimed our home.

On behalf of the Muse family, we would like to offer our most heartfelt thanks to the many Valley people and organizations who generously helped us in our recovery from the recent fire that claimed our home.

An extra thanks to Mike Wallenger, who helped us every step of the way. His family, too, suffered a crisis, so he knew a lot of steps to take or we would be lost if he didn’t take us under his wing and help and guide us.

We would like to thank the Snoqualmie Tribe and Council, Snoqualmie Eyecare, Gateway Gas (Shell station) on the Ridge, St. Joseph’s Catholic School, Snoqualmie Methodist Church, St. Vincent de Paul, April Best, Photography by Joy, Country Casuals Consignment in Fall City, Carmicheals Hardware in Snoqualmie, Jim Jordon and family,The Snoqualmie Valley Record, Donita Gray, The Sunset Motel, David and Amy Holmes and Red Cross of Seattle.

We also thank the public and all the wonderful people—your prayers and kindness have seen us through so much.

So far, we have had no luck in finding a place to live. We have searched from North Bend to Renton. My family wants to stay together and have the chance to start over again. If you can help in any way, my four children are depending on it. We are even able to live in a mobile home or a trailer, if anyone has one somewhere, or if any of our Valley neighbors know of someone who does, please help our family.

We are so close to not even having a motel to stay in. We have the money to move in to an apartment (first, last’s month rent and deposit), we just don’t have the credit, and although we lived at our recent apartment for 22 months, we did very well there.

If you have any information, please call Sarah at (425) 221-9991 or Mike at (425) 213-8353. Thank you to God for sparing our lives.

Sincerely,

Sarah Muse, Robby Calley, daughter Kylan and sons Noah, Robert, Kaleb

and mother Judy.
