Work with wood scraps to grow your garden

The Fall City Learning Garden hosts a free hands-on workshop, Oct. 18.

Hugelkulture is the theme of the workshop, 3 to 5 p.m., at the garden, located at 4304 337th Pl. SE., Fall City, access is from the alley behind the Masonic hall.

Make use of scrap wood and woody prunings to increase your soil’s fertility and water holding capacity.

Fall City Learning Garden needs volunteers for many  tasks. Donations are welcome.
