New physical therapist joins staff

SNOQUALMIE _ Chris Gant has joined David Shields at

the Snoqualmie Physical Therapy office.

A native of Edmonds, Gant attended Pacific Lutheran

University, where he received his undergraduate degree, and earned a master’s

degree in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University.

His previous work experience dealt primarily with outpatient

orthopedics, and he has experience in aquatic therapy. Gant plans on

starting aquatic therapy classes in the near future.

He has continued with his education and is currently working to

obtain his manual therapy certification through the North American

Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

A four-year letterman in football at PLU, Gant is looking forward

to working with the Mount Si High School athletic department, as well

as developing an osteoporis screening and awareness program for the

community.
