A Snoqualmie man got into a physical confrontation with an intruder in his home, in the 6800 block of S.E. Gove St., on Valentine’s Day. It was not a pleasant surprise for the resident, who said he was awakened by a sound and went downstairs to find an unknown man, with what looked like a gun, in his living room.
Snoqualmie Police, who investigated the incident said the firearm was actually a BB gun.
The resident confronted the intruder and the two men struggled in a fight that extended outside the home. There, the intruder punched the resident in the face and escaped to a waiting vehicle.
Police used evidence left at the scene to identify a suspect vehicle and tracked the vehicle to unincorporated Kent. After obtaining search warrants, the department, with the aid of the Coalition of Small Cities Special Operations Team, contacted the two subjects and arrested them with no injury.
