BrodieNation Music Festival: It is year 19 of the annual BrodieNation Music Festival presented by Morgan Henley, local music and event producer. The event, along the Tolt River in Carnation, will have performances by more than 50 musical arts over three days. Tickets can be purchased for one day or the whole weekend, and camping passes can also be purchased. Visit brodienation.com for more information and to get tickets.

Friday in the garden, 4:30-6:30 p.m.: Every Friday evening through July, join Erika Laureano Design for wine, light bites and a relaxed shopping experience. These events will have special discounts on items in the shop. Registration is required and can be done at erikalaureanodesign.com/events.

Thomas the Tank Engine train ride: Join the Northwest Railway Museum for a day out with Thomas. Rides are available each weekend through July and include many other activities. Oxbow Farm restoration work party, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center in Carnation is hosting another restoration work party. Volunteers can help plant native species, remove invasive plants and promote resilient landscapes. Registration is required and can be done by filling out a volunteer application at oxbow.org.
SipFest wine and beer festival, 5-8 p.m.: SipFest 2025 will have tastings from more than 25 wineries and breweries and discounted bottle sales. Tickets are $45 online or $55 at the door and include 10 sample tastings. Designated driver tickets are $10 and include free soda and water. There will also be food available to purchase. Haystack Music Festival, 6 p.m. to midnight: Jazz Clubs NW is hosting its annual Haystack Musical Festival in downtown North Bend. Acts include folk, bluegrass, old country and blues. Adult tickets are $30 for presale and $45 at the door; student tickets are $20 for presale and $35 at the door. Each ticket gets guests into all 17 venues to see 21 bands. Free BBQ and yard games, 5-6:30 p.m.: Empower Youth Network is hosting a free evening of food and games at Tolt Commons in Carnation. Free outdoor concert, 7 p.m.: Miller’s in Carnation is hosting free concerts this summer in its new outdoor space. Sol, a Haitian American Hip-Hop artist based in Seattle, will kick off the series. Event is free and open to all ages.
July 19
Rummage sale, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Re-in-Carnation, a thrift store inside the SnoValley Senior Center, is holding its big summer rummage sale. All proceeds benefit the senior center.
North Bend Downtown Block Party, 12-10 p.m.: North Bend’s annual block party is a free event that includes a music festival and performances, a kid zone, a vendor fair and a locally sourced beer and wine garden courtesy of the North Bend Downtown Foundation. Opt Outside 5k/10k, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: The Blake Pottle Foundation is hosting its fourth annual 5k and 10k run or walk to fight cancer at Meadowbrook Farm in North Bend. All are welcome including pets. Registration for the 10k is $60 for adults or $40 for those ages 12 and under. The 5k is $50 for adults or $30 for those ages 12 and under. Mount Si Classic, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Tickets are $150 for a single player or $600 for a group of four. Each group of four will receive one free throw for each player. Free throws cannot be obtained any other way. Tickets include access to practice range and the putting green; green fees; lunch; contest holes; and raffles, awards and prizes. Available prizes include a round of golf, a spa day, a MGI Zip X3 High Performance Electric Golf Cart and $10,000. Other ticketed items include $10 raffle tickets; $12 drink tickets; $10 mulligan tickets (to replay a poor shot); and $40 super tickets, which include one mulligan ticket, four raffle tickets and one drink ticket.
