Ridge to Rails run raises money for Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust

The Ridge to Rails 6-mile Trail Run, founded three years ago by the staff of ESM Consulting Engineers, continues to grow, as nearly 1,000 participants gathered Aug. 3 at Snoqualmie Ridge to participate in this year’s race.

New this year was the addition of the Trail Walk, as well as a Kid’s Dash. After the event, everyone celebrated completing the race at the Grand Finale party that included live music, food and beverages provided by Starbucks, Talking Rain and Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Co.

Ridge to Rails was developed three years ago as a means of strengthening the relationships between ESM’s major client, consultants and the community, which have worked together for several years. The race also promotes fitness, health and improved quality of life for community members and participants alike.
