Wildcats to host gymnastic camp for youth

Mount Si High School’s gymnastics team will give girls an introduction to the sport in a youth camp, 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 5 to 7, in the Mount Si third gym.

Wildcat Gymnastics Camp is for girls in Kindergarten through fifth grade, of all skill levels, and is aimed at children who may already be using the sofa as a trampoline or can be found climbing or hanging upside down.

The sport combines strength, flexibility, agility and balance and is an individual as well as team sport, encouraging confidence as well as team spirit.

Cost is $50 and includes a camp T-shirt.
