SNOQUALMIE – A near-perfect day helped make the third annual Snoqualmie Valley Charity Golf Classic at the Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club a success, bringing in at least $50,000 for Valley charities.
More than 90 golfers from around the region participated in the silent auction and tournament that took place in Snoqualmie on July 14-15.
“It went super,” said Snoqualmie Valley Charity Golf Classic Board President Don Isley. “It was a very good tournament and it was better than last year.”
The tournament was devised by Isley and friend George Cook of the Quadrant Corp. one day when they were hitting golf balls on the site of the course before it was constructed.
