North Bend celebrates Halloween, construction project completion with Trick or Treat Street event, Oct. 31

Get ready for a night of trick-or- treating in downtown North Bend. Bring your monsters, princesses, ghosts and goblins to the North Bend Trick-or- Treat Street Plaza Party, 4 to 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Everyone is invited to dress up and come in costume. Begin your Halloween by visiting participating businesses in downtown North Bend. Look for the signs in the windows of participating merchants. Parents must accompany children to this event.

Activities will include a ribbon cutting to mark the completion of the Downtown Plaza Project, 4:30 p.m. next to the antique shop on North Bend Way, trick-or-treating at downtown businesses marked with “Trick-Or-Treat Street” or “Get your Halloween treats here” posters, live music from the local band Amber Lanterns from 5 to 6 p.m., in a lit tent in the alley next to the antique shop.

Glow-stick jewelry will be handed out to all participants, while supplies last.
