Saturday’s rainy weather didn’t dampen enthusiasm or attendance at the 6th annual North Bend Jazz Walk. More than 1,600 jazz lovers enjoyed music in 14 different venues in downtown North Bend on Saturday night.

Despite an early downpour and high winds in the late afternoon, the skies cleared to reveal a mild evening and seven hours of jazz offerings around town.

“This time there was a Jazz Walk at the end of the rainbow, said JazzClubsNW executive director, Gregory Malcolm. “It was a big night of jazz in our little town. We really appreciate everyone coming out and supporting the event.”

JazzClubsNW also presents jazz four night weekly at the organization’s new performance stage at Piccola Cellars, as well as hosting the equally poplar North Bend Blues Walk on Saturday, Sept. 23.
