Courtesy Photo Mount Si High School’s dance team celebrates their second place finish in the military category at the Bellevue High School dance competition Dec. 10.

The Mount Si High School dance team, competing in the Bellevue High School “All That Glitters” dance competition for District 2 over the weekend, placed second in the military category. The team’s score at the Dec. 10 competition, its first of the year, climbed 20 points from its District 2 competition score last season.

Team members include Emma Eubanks, captain, Ellie Woods, Morgan Wadsworth, Cj Tse, Clarissa Ricks, Camille Ostrem, Gracie Stokes, Serena Watters and Anna Budkar. They are coached by Jen Stokes and Megan Maxwell.

The dance team will perform at the Jan. 20 home basketball game, and is planning a junior dancer clinic for anyone who wants to join them, 9 a.m. to noon on Jan. 16 at Timber Ridge Elementary School. For more information, visit www.mountsidanceteam.weebly.com.
