Driver in critical condition after Preston-Fall City Road crash

A 62-year-old man is in critical condition after a crash with a semi truck on the morning of Tuesday, June 28 on Preston-Fall City Road.

At 9:17 a.m. King County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting the crash. The semi-truck was traveling northbound and a flatbed truck was going southbound. During a right turn on the 6300 block of the road, the southbound truck crossed into the opposing lane and collided with the semi-truck.

The 62-year-old driver of the southbound truck was taken to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. The other driver was not injured, but attempted to swerve out of the way of the oncoming vehicle and hit a barrier, leaving the truck in the middle of the road.

King County Sheriff’s Office does not suspect the use of any drugs or alcohol to be involved.
