Snoqualmie Police and King County Tactical Unit respond to North Bend fight

At 3:15 a.m. on August 9, Snoqualmie Police responded to an apartment complex on the 400 block of East North Bend Way, North Bend where they found a group of tenants fighting in the parking lot.

During the fight, one of the subjects mentioned the use of an assault rifle, but no shots were fired or reported. Because of the possibility of the use of a weapon, King County’s Tactical Unit was called to the scene. Officers obtained a warrant for the apartment in question and found a toy assault rifle inside.

Snoqualmie Police Chief Jim Schaffer said the fight started from a disgreement between two of the individuals and alcohol had been invovled.

A 22-year-old male was booked into King County Jail after being arrested on assualt in the second degree felony charges.
