The Snoqualmie Valley School District has narrowed its pool of 19 applicants for the principal’s seat at Mount Si High School down to three, and invites the public to meet them this week.
One candidate will spend a full day in the district this week, and be available from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Wednesday to meet parents and community members.
On Tuesday, May 10, Terry Cheshire, from the Everett School District will be available, and on Wednesday, the public can meet Nicole MacTavish of the Kent School Distrit.
Members of the public are invited and encouraged to provide comments. Feedback forms will be provided. Superintendent Joel Aune will consider input from all who meet the candidates throughout the process, before making the final decision, expected by the last school board meeting of the month, May 26.
