Ever heard of rubbing sticks together to make a fire? It’s not fiction, it’s friction. Si View Parks offers a primitive fire-making workshop, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at Meadowbrook Farm.

The class will cover ancient techniques such as the bow drill, hand drill and flint stone to make a fire. Includes Native American story-telling. For adults and ages 10 and up with a parent. Cost is $25. Learn more: www.siviewpark.org.
