Valley’s finance staffers earn awards

Finance staff with the cities of North Bend and Snoqualmie, and the Si View Metropolitan Park District have recently been honored by the Washington Finance Officers Association with the 2013 Professional Finance Officer Award.

Stan Lewis, former assistant finance director, and Beth Waltz, staff accountant with the city of North Bend, Tania Holden, account clerk, and Gerald Knutsen, financial analyst with the city of Snoqualmie, and Scott Loos, the finance manager at Si View, each received the award.

The Professional Finance Officer award recognizes achievements of professional service and congaing continuing education and training on the part of each individual. The Washington Finance Officers Association is a professional group of finance officers from towns, cities, counties, the state and other government units in the state.
