Burning car rolls up to fire station

Normally, Fall City firefighters have to roll out in a fire truck to respond to fires. But this past Thursday, the fire came to them.
A car that was on fire arrived at the King County Fire District 27 station just before 9 a.m. Thursday, March 22.
According to reports, a Fall City woman was dropping off one of her children at Fall City Elementary School and noticed her car, a 1997 Ford Escort, was running oddly. She took the first right turn after leaving the school and passed in front of the Fall City Fire Station. Her engine cut out and when she tried to turn the ignition, smoke and flames flared from underneath her car.
“A trail of fire followed her to the station,” Fall City Fire Capt. Ken Larson said.
