SNOQUALMIE – It had been awhile since Snoqualmie Elementary School Principal Cori Pflug was in charge of so many children.
Last week, she watched over students at one of the Snoqualmie Valley School District’s seven schools that started classes Wednesday, Sept. 4. The eighth, Two Rivers School, began this week.
Pflug joined the district as a teacher in 1987 and moved up through various teaching and administrative positions until she was named principal of Snoqualmie Elementary this summer. She had been principal at Opstad Elementary in 1996-1997, but had recently been working only part time at the district’s administrative building.
