Valley man’s book is best seller

A lot can be learned about living life and pursuing dreams from Michelangelo, one of the greatest artists of all time. Author and motivational speaker Chris Widener’s new book, “The Angel Inside: Michelangelo’s Secrets for Following Your Passion and Finding the Work You Love,” unveils some of the artist’s life lessons.

The book is a short, fictional parable that tells the tale of Thomas, a young man unhappy with his job who finds a mentor in modern-day Florence. By using examples from the work and life of Michelangelo, Thomas’s new-found mentor guides him toward a revelation that one can live a fulfilling life with a satisfying job by setting one’s own goals and working to achieve them.
