Snoqualmie City Hall set to move in 16 months

Snoqualmie City Hall will be seeing some big changes over the next year as the city looks to build and move into a new downtown building where the former municipal fire hall now stands.
Some 16 months from now, the city of Snoqualmie should be settling into new digs at the River Street and Maple Avenue location, Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson said last week.
City planners are currently exploring Snoqualmie’s needs for a new municipal building, and conceptual designs should be making the rounds at City Hall in the next few weeks. The existing Snoqualmie library property, and possibly the current library building itself, are also part of plans for the new building.
A new city hall means more than just offices for public officials. The new building could promote the neighborhood as a commercial destination and restore confidence to the older part of town, under Larson’s vision.
