Host families needed for Sister Cities exchange
Published 10:58 am Friday, December 4, 2015
The Snoqualmie Sister Cities Association is planning a student exchange between Snoqualmie and its sister city of Gangjin, Korea, Jan. 11 to Feb. 1. Host families are needed for four girls and six boys for the 22-day exchange.
Ideal host families would have school-aged children. Host families’ high-school students will have opportunities to study in Gangjin in the future.
The Korean students will spend a few days in local schools, as well as participating in daytime activities such as Seattle tours. They will have weeknights and weekends free to spend with their hosts.
For more information about hosting a student, contact Tina McCollum at valent6222@aol.com.
This program is sponsored by the Snoqualmie Sister Cities Association.
