The defending KingCo League champion Mount Si boys basketball team open their season with a 70-60 victory over Issaquah on Dec. 4.

Senior Trevor Hennig led the Wildcats with 34 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. Sophomore Lattimore Ford contributed 16 points alongside, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.

The victory marked the Wildcats first game since finishing fifth in last year’s state tournament.
