Man with machete detained by police | Police Blotter

Sept. 23

Man with a machete: At 7:35 p.m. in the 400 block of East North Bend Way, there were reports of a man with a machete. He was allegedly throwing things and yelling obscenities. Police arrived and were able to detain the subject without incident.

Sept. 24

Unruly man: At 11:02 p.m. at the Snoqualmie train depot, there was a man in the bathroom getting aggressive and pushy with patrons. The officers asked the male subject to leave the area.

Employee fired: At 11:08 p.m. in the 700 block of Riverside Drive Southeast in North Bend, a male subject was fired from his job and would possibly show up at the address. The ex-employee did show up and was taken into custody on an active felony warrant.

Sept. 25

DUI: At 9:53 p.m. in the Snoqualmie area, police observed a car swerving from its lane and driving erratically. The officer stopped the car and the driver was arrested for possibly driving under the influence and on a suspended license. They were also in possession of a dangerous weapon.

Sept. 27

Way too slow: At 2:58 a.m. in the area of East North Bend Way, a car was traveling in a posted 25 mph zone at a speed of 5 mph. The driver was taken into custody for suspected DUI.
