Three Mount Si High School students participated in the SkillsUSA Puget Sound Region Photography competition at Spanaway Lake High School on Feb. 1, and all three came home with awards.

Junior Maddox Malcolm, earned a first place in the Gallery category and first place in Region. Senior Connor Bunting earned first place in the Studio category, and Claire Meyer, a junior, earned second place in both the Gallery and Region categories.

Malcolm will advance to the Washington State SkillsUSA competition later this spring.
