Police and fire agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following calls:

Sunday, Jan. 17
Theft: At 5:59 a.m., a woman was reported to be stealing items and eating them without paying, in the 400 block of E. North Bend Way, North Bend.
Stolen shirts: At 1:13 p.m., a caller reported a theft from a store on the 400 block of South Fork Avenue S.W., North Bend. The subject took four shirts and ran to a tan Jeep Cherokee. The caller tried to stop the subject by standing behind the vehicle but had to move to avoid being hit. The stolen items cost an estimated $80.
Disturbance: At 9:58 p.m., police got a call reporting a man not following rules and yelling obscenities at staff on the 30000 block of S.E. River Street, Snoqualmie. They arrested the man on a warrant.
Monday, Jan. 18
Theft: At 9:44 a.m., police received a call about a vending machine being broken into overnight at S.E. 90th Street and Railroad Avenue S.E., Snoqualmie.
Tuesday, Jan. 19
Suspicious: At 9:07 a.m., police received a report of a naked man sitting inside a vehicle on the 500 block of South Fork Avenue S.W., North Bend. Police checked the man and found he was not completely naked.
Suspicious: At 11:12 p.m., police received a report of two subjects possibly breaking into a vehicle on the 7000 block of Maple Avenue Southeast, Snoqualmie. Police found the two subjects were a mother and son stealing fuel from a vehicle and took them into custody.
Thursday, Jan. 21
Citizen assist: At 4:56 p.m., police received a report of a dog without an owner found on the 30000 block of S.E. Douglas Street, Snoqualmie. Police were able to reunite the dog with its owner at the police department.
Wanted person: At 11:52 p.m., police stopped a biker that was riding without a front light and discovered that the rider had a misdemeanor warrant. The rider was arrested on that warrant.

Friday, Jan. 15
Alarm problem: At 4:43 p.m., the fire department responded to a home on Silva Avenue S.E., where a smoke alarm was malfunctioning. They disconnected all of the house alarms and advised the landlord to replace them.
Monday, Jan 18
Chair on fire: At 12:54 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to an automatic fire alarm sounding at Venture Corp. Commercial Center. The alarm company told the crew en route that the alarm came from Bracken Place S.E. There were no signs of fire in the concrete building when firefighters arrived. They spoke to a building occupant who said a chair had caught fire after a brazing torch was in use nearby, but he wheeled it outside and dumped water on the flames.
Faulty alarm: At 6:54 p.m., the department was called to a home where smoke detectors were sounding, with no visible fire. Firefighters found the home evacuated, with one alarm sounding for no apparent reason. The alarm stopped when the device was disconnected. They suggested replacing that smoke detector.
Tuesday, Jan. 19
Incense: At 11:05 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the old Snoqualmie Hospital site for a fire alarm. Security staff met the crew and told them that some burning incense had set off the alarm.
Medical aid: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie EMTs responded to nine EMS incidents bringing the total number of incidents to date to 49.
