AmeriCorps seeks volunteers for Lake Sammamish project

Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park is seeking volunteers to work in a Living Laboratory project, removing invasive plant species and replacing them with native plants over several months. The project is led by AmeriCorps worker, Aubrey Tingler. Volunteers can work for one or multiple sessions.

The next event will be 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Jan. 23 at Lake Sammamish State Park. Dress appropriately for weather conditions. Heavy gloves, tools and refreshments will be provided.
